One thing that's been troubling me about the case, is the call for an arrest arrest arrest. Getting arrested for the murder is no big whup, in my opinion.

Jackass Vandersloot was arrested prolly 100 times.

I really hope that Zimmerman is <span style="color: #FF0000"><span style="font-weight: bold">arrested, charged, prosecuted, found guilty and serves significant time</span></span>.

I have a funny feeling they're going to arrest him and say - <span style="font-style: italic">so look, we did what u wanted, we arrested him </span>...

Then he's let go and it all dies down. He's released and nothing more happens.

It always dies down - always.

Seems we can only look to Nancy Grace on this one! For the 2nd time in my life, I find myself agreeing with every single word she's saying.

well technically he was arrested that night -when he walks in to the station with cuffs on

BUT the DA said to let him go due to insufficient evidence (or whatever), so yeah, dem need to call for a speedy trial.(and everything leading up to it)

I can't helping thinking about the poor parents of this young man. They look absolutely exhausted. These are incredibly strong people. If it was my boy<span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="text-decoration: underline"> I </span></span>would probably be in jail by now

Not anymore. When my son comes home for Easter I am going to <span style="font-weight: bold">AGAIN</span> talk to him about the dark coloured hoodie wearing business and getting home early. He had a black hoodie he used to like to wear and believe it or not I hid it. This was towards the end of high school. Every time he came home from university, he would search the house for the hoodie. Eventually I gave it back to him. Trust me, if I can ever get my hands on it again, I will hide it.

I agree. It's inexcusable that this dirt bag has not been charged yet. We have some crazy laws in the Canada gut this stand your ground law is ridiculous. Apparently, anyone can claim self-defense and escape charges.

Anyway, I hear the Trayvon Martin case is going to a grand jury. They'd better make sure there are some Black people on that jury.

I'll probably get slammed for saying this but I'll say it because I think it's true. It would be very difficult to find a group of 12 White jurors in that clearly racist Florida town to judge this case fairly. For sure they would acquit.
