Yes, people suspected of being criminals should committ a crime that rises to the level propotionate to the response before they are arrested and persecuted - if not we will continue to end up with many more Trayvon Martin.

I do not think this was a job for the police.....but school disciplinarians.
This child is sent to school to learn how to be a responsible and productive member of society instead her behaviour has just been criminalize when it should have been socialized, she has now learned a new and dangerous lesson, that has now placed her on the road to prison.
For whatever reason her parents has taught her the wrong behaviour, the criminal justice system is not about rehabilitation but penalization.....the behaviour she exhibit is not entirely her fault but partly that of her parents and society - She only 6yrs old and most likely still think santa is real.

What a sad sad case... this little one is certainly out of control.. I would have done the same thing.. what else was there to do.. she was not listening.. even when she went to the Principals office she still tearing up stuff and even equipment.. Had she hurt another child, or even an adult as was alluded too then what.. More than likely she run her house also, as she has no respect for ADULTs period. Someone said this child goes to school to learn social skills and the like.. NOPE.. that starts in the HOME.. some said this is learned behavior.. how could it not be.. and also like someone said, had this child been injured herself then there would be a whole heapa trouble for the adults.

I believe they tried to deal with the situation.. and when they could not then they went to the next level.. I even doubt that if the parent(s) had of shown up, that it would not have made a difference. What could happen to a 6-yo that would warrent this kind of reaction that did not subside in a matter of minutes..

Parents said she is having nightmares now.. she should be, I bet she will think twice and again before she pulls that kind of crap.. If it was my child that acted like that I would not blame anyone in this situation..

Six-yo should have more manners than that.. and this is not a small sixyo, I can imagine them trying to restrain her and she kicking and screaming all the while. I would have done the same thing because at this time she was a danger to herself..and others around her..
