The other theory being floated around is that Bolt is facing stiff competition in his own backyard and cannot afford any distractions this year. He recently signed with Virgin Mobile and Gatorade to be the face of their ad campaigns and doing well in London means that the relationship will continue and be even more lucrative for him. Yohan Blake is reportedly getting better and better in training, is focused and never misses a day of training - they call him beastly. Bolt knows that if he is going to win in London he cannot slack off or Blake who just responded with a 9.84 100M run of his own will be there to claim the prize. So better to ditch the girl...

As a matter of fact, many of the slaves that came from the northern part of African east coast (from what is now Guinea) were muslims on arrival to Jamaica.

Hindus and Muslims have never been in the majority in Jamaica. Not even close. BTW, I notice you did not have Jewish on your list. How come given Jamaica's long standing Jewish history? I would not have them on the list as they are a tiny minority but interestingly enough, most of the descendants of the Portuguese Jews who migrated to Jamaica converted to Christianity and a lot of them did inter-marry with Black people. They still have the Portuguese names though.
