9. I know from Lev. 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me
unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

10. My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev. 19:19 by planting two different
crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two
different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse
and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of
getting the whole town together to stone them? - Lev.24:10-16. Couldn't we
just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people

I know you have studied these things extensively and thus enjoy considerable

johnnycakes, that was also used in The West Wing ... fictional POTUS Bartlett says most of that, word for word, to the show's fictional counterpart of Dr. Laura, who was at the White House disrespecting POTUS with her sanctimonious attitude. It was <span style="font-style: italic">hilarious</span>.

the point is, of course, is to illustrate that there are LOADS of things in the Bible that may have been important in the society of those ancient times, but which no longer make any sense, are no longer relevant in modern society, and are ridiculously funny (or horrifying, depending on how you look at it) when attempts are made to apply them to modern times.

i think you misunderstand who i am. That is not my symbol. I hate the cross like how Jah hate wickedness. I have never owned, possessed, touched or even gotten near to that symbol from I was born. The things in Leviticus and all things in the Bible were all allegedly written by men inspired by God.
As such they should be unchangeable .
In fact and in practice they have been deliberately forgotten because they are obviously the thinking of primitive men and not of an omniscient and omnipotent God who as an all-knowing and all-powrful being would NEVER have created ETERNAL laws that He knew would not be followed at a later time.

The fact that the Bible is so full of errors, myths and dated misogynist, anti-homosexual and societal themes and laws clearly indicates that it was mortal and socially primitive men who wrote the Bible, the Qu'ran and the Book of Mormon and not an all-knowing, all-powerful god.

When you talk about context, who's context do you speak of, who taught you how to read and see it the way you do, why can different ppl read the same thing and see things differently, why is there a king james version, and did he take ting out of context, or is it all inspired by God?

will it involve weapons?
