Work Programme is Work Experience. You don't get paid for that.
The 'benefits' they get for being unemployed has nothing to do with working for free. </div></div>

specially when you read that they will cover transportation costs and assist with child care if required

I was born and brought up in London, but luckily, I was only ever out of work for two months.
