I was making a point which seems to have sailed over your head. The political system, whether it be Democrat or Republican, only has their own best interest in mind and that is to stay in power. Yes, that's a fact that can't be disputed. I'm always happy to discuss facts.
But, that said, you are comparing apples to oranges. The topic is comparing a war zone to urban life. That's what makes this an actual worthy piece of news.
Humans have been killing each other in tribal wars since the begining of recorded history. That's a different topic completely, but a I'd be happy to discuss it.

I don't think straw purchases are as prevalent as they once were.
There is a paper trail. Federal offense with lots of jail time.
