As a person that bakes regularly I wouldn't trade my KitchenAid mixer for the world.

I would probably do as one person suggested (cyaan memba a who ya now) place the box it is packed in (which is already securing the parts) inside of another box and check it.

Thanks Ensome.

This particular great aunt of mine is an angel and am very close to her. She's the only person - and I do mean, the ONLY person, who over the years, has never asked me for anything - ever. Not a pencil, not a shoe, shirt or dime.

And when I leave JA, she always has something for <span style="font-weight: bold">ME</span> tuh rhatid! A book, a cake, a prayer, puddin' - she always puts something in my hand widout mi even ax.

And she's a baker - the kind who, when she bakes, it melts in your mouth and peeps come from miles around for it.

I know that she's wanted a blender for years. She didn't ask me for a kitchen aid but she's the kind of person who deserves it and nothing less.

She's not 100 years old but she's not 30 anymore. The amt of baking she does is outrageous. This mixer will be a lifesaver for her.

dem probably dont know what the true value is ...declare sey yuh bring one mixer for yuh grand aunt wh love to bake but getting weaker ..tell dem sey it cost $100 pay the $4000 an be happy

the world customs organisation celebrating 60 years this year..
Jamaica is a member, they also are members of cclec - caribbean customs law enforcement council
so they may well know more than you think, plenty govts going after taxes/duties etc what with the recession etc...

Anyway, I'm getting her a red one and I can wait to watch her face when she sees it.
