ok. thanks milo. i'm perplexed by all the utube comments from men (apparently), who think this is more erotic than beyonce or rihanna. maybe its a cultural thing

Did ting about sensuality is, it depends on who is doing it. She is not believeable because she is a bit clunky doing it. Shi trying too hard. There are women who are not particularly pretty, but standing in a room, they ooze sensuality from their pores.

the song was released in 1989, so it's going on 15years old. Lyrics are inspired by a character in an Irish novel, hence the celtic feel to the music. here are the lyrics (the bolded line in the last part of the song titillated quite a few posters):

so, in addition to the line &quot;his spark took life in my hand&quot;, which a number of posters wanted Kate Bush to do for them personally, they pointed out the following parts in the video that made them go hot:

1:49, when she took off her hat...!!!

3:43, at the end of the video, when she looked at the camera and said &quot;yes&quot;, which apparently means she ready now.

the comments come from what i presume are white men from around the world (nuff other languages than english testifying to the power of this video).

You really find Beyonce and Rihanna erotic or sensual? I equate those words with a more subtle sexuality than what those two portray.

The woman in the video appear strange with her gesticulating and arm flailing and facial contours. Odd that the video is causing such a stir in the loins of her male followers. I get the impression that the male posters see the arm flailing, gesticulating and facial contours as sexual.... perhaps in akin to she is getting a wicked slam.

I like the words of the song..to be read as a poem.

lol, there were a few posters who admitted to girl crushes on the singer.

the song is about 15 years old, released in 1989, when Kate Bush was i think at the height of her popularity.

it's not really an angst song, imo, and i think she does an effective job conveying the sensuality with her breathy singing and the &quot;mmh yes&quot; sprinkled throughout.
