Because, as my second to last post - breaking down the medical terminology for you - shows you the difference in medical terminology between the two words.

As I just pointed out to you, acquired means something entirely different than infectious.

If you don't know brand names, use the emergency balloon test.
Put the condom to your mouth tightly, and blow into it. Blow it up, like a balloon... if it won't hold air (your breath), it's got a leak. Don't use it.

The balloon test will not help when dealing with virus, as shown above 30% of condoms will leak just hanging there.

People are known to live an entire life time with the HIV virus.

How so ? Many persons for example, who “live an entire life time with the (E-B) virus&quot; never, develop mononucleosis and its complications. Do you also dispute that the Epstein-Barr virus causes mononucleosis?

Well I agree with the NYT and the authors of the study do as well.

The study found that women using hormonal contraception became infected at a rate of 6.61 per 100 person-years, compared with 3.78 for those not using that method. Transmission of H.I.V. to men occurred at a rate of 2.61 per 100 person-years for women using hormonal contraception compared with 1.51 for those who did not.

The TRUTH is always dangerous to lies.
That is your opinion based on what you understand about HIV, My understanding is that HIV <span style="font-weight: bold">may</span> very well not be infectious, and that AIDS is a lifestyle disease.
