Confusing abstinent with morality..You comparing humans having sex to copulating dogs demonstrates a contempt for the humans imperative...

No person with a normal sex drive would expect young people not to have sex!

To tell anyone to wait till they are married is unrealistic...These are exceeding fit focused young people in the prime of their life...They are for the most part loaded with hormones. They would have focused and put themselves under pressure.. when the goal has been achieved the pressure is off.. they will look for release.... They are going to have sex!!!! They are going to pair off some no doubt will have recreational sex others may find their life partners!!!

A group of 10 thousand athletes aged under 30 using 150,000 condoms over a two week period is hardly excessive copulatory activity!!!! At least from my perceptive that is not..


Acknowledging that these young people have sex drives and will have sex...Sexuality between consenting adults should guilt free.. Managing the sexual drive is another issue...

If they chose not to have sex that is their choice. I enjoy sex. As these young people performed above and beyond my expectation through personal sacrifice, I hope they have some relaxing fun including some serious sex... I hope Bolt, Shelly Ann, Veronica, Alia, the Beast, the Weir Wolf et al are having a lot of consensual sex! And I hope they are using condoms!!!

Of the two titanic egotists, LeBron James and Usain Bolt, it's hard to tell who is the more self-congratulatory superstar. They're both known for patting themselves on the back when the cameras are rolling. But where the media loves to hate LeBron, Bolt seems to be loved by cameras and journalists alike. The sprinter is celebrated as though he were a crazy uncle, or a quirky character. LeBron's ego, on the other hand, inspires vitriol.

For LeBron, it's all about King James, all the time. He televised his decision to leave Cleveland, his first team and hometown, for Miami, famously saying that he was taking his talents to South Beach. He is adamant that it's just a matter of time until he wins mutliple championships. He has a tattoo on his back that reads &quot;Chosen 1&quot;. He's one of the best basketball players who's ever lived, but he knows it, and it shows.

Bolt revels in his greatness as well. He has his own post-race pose, where he crouches in a sprinter's stance and aims his hands to the sky, and he'll routinely look up at the video board to watch himself finish races. As Bolt crossed the finish line in the 200m sprint in London, he held up his finger to his lips. Later, Bolt boldly said: &quot;You can stop talking now, because I am a living legend.&quot;

On that point, he's not wrong. He came from relative obscurity to make his Olympics debut in 2008, and won both the 100m and 200m sprint. In the 100m race, he set a world record of 9.69sec, breaking his own world record by .03 seconds that he set when he first appeared on the world stage earlier that year. Four years later, Bolt recorded an Olympic first, becoming the first person to win double gold – in the 100m and 200m races – in back-to-back Olympics.

LeBron has an impressive resume also: he's a three-time MVP with an NBA championship and one gold medal – and after Sunday, maybe two – to his name. He's an eight-time NBA All-Star and the 2004 Rookie of the Year. But unlike Bolt, LeBron is an outsized individual in a team sport.

The sprinter's ego is more acceptable than the baller's ego for one simple reason: Bolt wins alone, and LeBron needs a team. Without at least four people to back him up, LeBron would be left alone sitting in the middle of a dark court holding a ball, looking toward the exit.

That Guardian article does not really support your point. The writer is saying that Bolt's grandstanding is justified because he wins at his sport alone whereas Lebron's is not because he needs a supporting cast of players.

And Fox news is a bastion for right wingers in middle America. Bolt's ego aside there was no way a non American athlete would be leading that poll.

What point of view? I have not expressed a POV. I am showing a smattering of headlines and boards that are<span style="font-weight: bold"> raising the question about whether or not he is arrogant</span>. The fact that the question is being raised is not a good thing on a long term basis for Brand Usain.

Frankly, I don't think he is arrogant but some of the things he is saying and doing are having a negative backlash. This is not a good thing.

He needs someone to advise him. Stars do rise but they do come crashing down if the public turns against them.
