If I recall one of our board members live in or near San Fran - the young lady with the nice little boy Immani (sp) - Bandana I think her name is. (I haven't seen her on the board lately though). Maybe she will come on and give you some suggestions.

I went there one August, and it was surprisingly cold, I wore sweaters during the day

yes it got down to low 50's at night (end of august)

Sam may want to go to Monterrey, and see Cannery Row made famous by writer John Steinbeck, its all cleaned &amp; tarted up of course, I have my stuffed whale from there.
