RichD, I view alcohol as something for special occasions. I did not grow up with my Dad having beer in the fridge all the time. .....he would buy it on occasion... but to be honest, even that would be too much for me. I rarely even keep it in the house. I have had cooking wine in the fridge a couple of times. When I was given Mateus as a gift, it sat their for a year without me even opening it....and I like Matues. Most of it I used for cooking salmon.



The thought of a guy sitting at home and drinking beer.

So anything other than having alcohol on special occasions or holiday, I would struggle with a bit. I know I am being silly as my Dad was a good father and husband and having a beer 2 or 3 times a year didn't take away from that.

So what is excessive. I suppose if a guy <span style="font-weight: bold">occasionally</span> had a beer at home like my Dad though it would be outside my zone of comfort, I could learn to live with that...as long as he had no other faults.

He musn't sit around in his marina and drink it though.

A friend with a similar background to mine (Jamaican-born, raised in Canada) got married the same day I did. She married a Jamaican guy raised back home. The marriage did not even last 1 year sake a de domino playing. Once after he was &quot;out playing dominos&quot; she found that he had gum stuck to one of his nipples....I rest my case. </span>

I know you wont see this but why would any list that Dahjah or anybody else make for you work in you finding a mate that you can live with or who would want to live with you?
