Re: Greetings from Brooklyn, NY
so we head to the nursing home on Roosevelt Island, and interesting place for people who have different kinds of illnesses and no one to take care of them. lots of west indians in there
it was a nice and clean place, and the residents were people of all ages, some very old, others very young. the staff were pleasant - again, seemed to be a lot of west indians.
it was raining on and off, overcast and gray. but it felt refreshing being by the river. i love the water.

got a thrill from seeing this barge being towed on the river - i think it's the hudson river. apparently, it's the lickle blue boat on the side that's moving the big black one
