Yes love to see the barges being towed. I used to live off the hudson and took the Hudson River Line into the city. You could watch the boats along the hudson while commuting. Another of my favourite things to watch was the Columbia U team doing their rowing practices in the morning.

This is the 8th Avenue line - 14th Street subway station for the A, E & C trains. Mountain G. you did well in that rain Friday morning. I got off my train @ 14th & 6th Avenue at 8:00 and it had just started to rain. I ran to my job @ 5th Avenue. I would never venture out in the rain as it started to rain heavy later on that morning. Glad you enjoyed yourself - you beat me to the high line although it is walking distance from my job. The photos are great - doesn't look like the same old NYC at all.. You are all looking great, Mom, Anty and yourself.Comment

Your photos inspired me to take a tour of Manhattan Island. I can't wait for my next visit to NYC.7/5th of all people do not understand fractions.Comment
