I am not in Ontario so how the heck did I know it's below zero. Been too busy to follow Toronto weather reports. Dahjah is just permanently in bad humour of late. Not sure why.

Anyhoo... I'd need to take off my shoes & socks and borrow your fingers and toes to count the number of men who've either told me directly OR said untruthfully in my hearing that their 3-inch bit was really 6 inches... or that their 4-inch bit was really 8 inches. Cho!

I got so sick of that so long ago (back in my single days, mind you) that I've been known to bust out laughing, reach into my pocketbook and pull out a small tape measure, and slap the tape measure down, challenging the liar to prove his statement... knowing full well that he couldn't possibly. At which point, of course, the 'little guy' disappeared entirely, hiding from the sound of my raucous laughter. *smh in memory* My girlfriends used to make bar bets on any given man's reaction to me all the time... (Of course, that did lead to one or two fist fights, too. dwl I still remember the night some guy got so mad at me that he punched me fully in my teeth, and I got so mad that I got up off of my bar stool - spitting blood, picked it up (the bar stool), and broke it over this guy's head - before the police arrived. I was so enraged that night. lol Ah, yes... those were the days of my misspent youth. Now unnu know why I don't drink much any more. I'm a mean drunk!)

mi dig out lang time, dis was nuttin but one would be foolish to let dis kinda snow fall and not go out before it finish so that u don't have so muc a kill yuh when it all done.

What 'kill myself'? You think a full-size backhoe was any trouble for me??? Nope. It took my construction company owner friend all of about 5-6 minutes to dig out my 95-ft driveway. No trouble for me at all.
God, how I love big Tonka toys!


I'm used to his construction equipment. My legs are too long for me to comfortably fit into his Bobcats (although I've run 'em) ... but I can run his backhoe well enough. I can run all of his construction equipment, except for his jackhammer. (That kills my broken spine! Some serious OUCH for a week afterwards.) And I've worked on some of his jobs, too, in a pinch. No one messes with a mean b* on a construction site - no one!
