It's already plastered upon the 'Net, and has been for... nearly 2-1/2 years already. Hells bells, Missusvegus, it's tagged with our names, on FB. ROTFL It's from 2011 and was from a sports bar in northeast Philly that we all meet at every quarter - about 4 times per year. Those are a few of my high school classmates; we've all been friends for 33-1/2 years. About 100 of us still get together several times a year, each and every year, even those f us who no loner live in Philly. About 300 of us meet up together once every year or so. We get about 500 of us who come to the reunions. Anther 150 or so out of the rest of the class keeps in touch with us via FB even if they don't make the pilgrimage back to Philly so often. I go back to see these friends whom I didn't cut off from me when I left home in 1988.

All the J'commers friended to me on FB have seen this - and others - for ages AND they know these peeps from FB. Not posting a damn thing that they didn't themselves post. One of the other ladies' husbands took the pic, it was given to me to share online.

I'm the one in the middle with the biggest personal flotation devices. We all of us hashed that one out long long ago in a galaxy far far away.

Me? Personally? Not one red cent.

Monster and Daddy? Thousands of dollars, back in the early 1970s. A WHOLE PILE of a fortune, for back then, circa 1972-1974!!

And my orthodontist is still alive and healthy and well... although retired for a very long time, now.
He's part of a group of us Philly peeps on FB, too... he likes to keep in touch with all of his patients, even after we've all grown up.

I also shot her an email with a copy of some of the postings of this thread by those claiming that her story is fabricated and requested her response. Maybe she will respond to clarify or varify the story.

Thank you for your well wishes. Can you please clarify who you are?


I do not need to respond to these allegations. There is no reason for me to defend my story to strangers. If people want to doubt me that is fine. There is a long history of doubting the stories of women who have been victimized by sexual crimes, so this is no surprise. If you would like to share the information, the attack happened at Rose Hill Cottage in Long Bay in the Portland parish. For anyone who knows anything about news reporting, they would understand that the choice not to include the specific town was the choice of the editors, not my own. I have been very clear throughout my story that my cuts were superficial, although I do in fact have a scar on my left arm. There are reports with the American Embassy, the Long Bay police department, the Port Antonio police department and the Port Antonio hospital.


I do think it's very unfortunate to see the racist comments regarding my story. However, these are out of my control. Like the misogynist attack you shared with me, these are to be expected on the Internet
