Okay since Xavier is looking for more feedback, I have some more feedback.

Seems like the "tourist crowd" is objecting to the discussion of racial issues. It is as if they want to treat Jamaica and this board as their personal playground to laugh and have fun without having to concern themselves with the very real issues that Jamaicans at home and abroad face.

Jamaica is more than a beach it's a country. Jamaicans aren't just there and here to be your personal playmates. We have real lives and face real struggles so it is really quite ... man don't even know the word.... appalling.... that some seem to want to enjoy the country without giving a jot about its residents at home or citizens abroad and the very real challenges we face.

Total garbage. I do fun threads but I have done more discussions about serious issues and social issues on here than the majority of members. Not everyone can be a permanent screwface like you never cracking a smile or laughing and I would not want to be.

But I icall a long running post the you tried to derail. You went out and claimed you sought expert advice and post reams of so-called helpful information that you got from these experts.

This is the Second and Last Time I am Clarifying This

There are 3 specific issues here that have absolutely nothing to do with the issue at hand that wa of concern to me. You don't seem to be clear about what was of concern to me so let me re-hash it again.

I was concerned because a member did 2 very specific things

- posted contact information for someone without their permission in violation of our group rules
- contacted a subject of a news story, made them aware of a heated discussion about something traumatic that had happened to them, shared the link and invited them to join the discussion. Why? He was not in agreement with what was posted.

I have NEVER done any of those things and if you claim I have you are a liar.

I have done the following that have nothing to do with the 2 areas of concern I raised in the other thread:

- 1. clicked on notify and informed moderators of content that violated our rules or that was of concern to me - it is my right to do that as a member

- 2. in your specific case about 8 - 9 years ago, I felt you were bashing Jamaica constantly and you only had negative to say about Jamaica. I did notify a moderator of one of a couple of your posts that I felt had crossed the line. It is my right to do this as a member to use the notify button and I make no apologies for that. Flippin get a life!! I guess you will be about this for the next 20 years.

At the time, I was naive enough to believe that the moderators were actually professional and had some regard for confidentiality. Clearly, some of them are very unprofessional as they informed you. Shame on you. That is not my problem. So get over it or take it up with the individuals who are thoroughly unprofessional and don't realize that moderators in ANY forum are supposed to respect confidentiality.

- 3. yes, I have from time to time (rarely) and again 8 or 9 years ago - done independent research about topics that were discussed here. I never made any experts on particular topics aware of the discussions, sent them the link or invited them to post here.

You admit to running a scheme where you appointed yourself to the High Office of Defender of the Rock.
You would then examine a Post by certain Posters and if it did not meet your approval you would report it to the Moderators who were in on your scheme.....correct?

I also happen to know that you did this against other members as well and it was based on varying criteria (i will let you elaborate). Another thing I have discovered during the.... hmmm, research for this is in 99% of the Posts you reported you were not even a participant, no one word of comment from you, other than to do your duty and report to your Comrade in Arms Moderators.

You also maintained a well advertised Ignore List, the only criterion to get on was to disagree with you, publicly or privately.
