Tulip dear I was so focused my denial mi Neva see your question. No I did not care for the original Sparkle it was ok but not anything I would watch again.

Seemiyah, I got the feeling you did not like the first one. In many ways, it was a disaster. Bad writing, sound issues, and you'd think they shot it with a Fisher Price camera. The characters grew on me though

I was going tonight but I think this one only warrants day time rates.

Yes, I was like why is this movie so popular and considered a classic? I figured there were just not many movies like that being made at that time so people were just so happy to see themselves on the screen that is what they are holding on to.

MI NEVA GO PON NUH DATE! When I do though NUNYA will be the first to know! Cho... like people cyaan have a likke movie buddy....an not the JA meaning of the word!

Oh yeah, during the previews, saw that The RZA has a flick coming out 'The Man with the Ironfist' (or sitn lakka so) lots of kung fu an ting. Got Lucy Liu and Russel Crowe innit. Dunno if it's RZA's first directorial debut... but I think I'ma support it...

The Expendables

I watched it in Spanish voice-over but despite the language barrier, I enjoyed it for the muscles, brawn, hilarious parody and non-stop action.

Ok I have seen couple movies, I don't see di smilie dem so mi will just grade dem

ARGO - A
I thin Ben affleck will get nominated for director and best movie ( not best actor though)

LOOPER - B+
Interesting story, didn't quite end up being the story it started out telling but was still good.

FLIGHT - B+
Denzel! Although him sort a old now...I see everyone saying it was a good character study in alcoholism and I agree. Two women left in the first ten minutes guess it was not the film they were expecting. My cousin wanted to take her 17 year old son, I told her I don't think so...full frontal nudity, drug use and lots of profanity.

Flight - 4 stars -- as my very well worded review is gone, all I will for now is "a very good personal story on an individual's alcoholism".
