Did you see that Oprah choose it as one of her favorite things this week? You know it flying off the shelf now, amazon already using it in their advertising and I guess there is some sort of discount on the Oprah website for it.

I have the SOny Reader - which is the same concept except that it does not have the wireless capability that the Kindle has... I have had my reader since last year July and let me tell you... I LOVE IT!!! - I used to lug around 3-4 books with me on vacation - mi sidetable used to be cluttered with books... now i have them all in one slim device

yes i was comparing the kindle and the sony reader the odda day, not even did know seh the "reader" been out for a while. a suh mi back a time.

anyway, I do love the concept overall


college students are dying for the titles to include textbooks, so them don't have to lug round all dem big heavy textbooks. I think thats the next upgrade and definitely the future.

The more I hear about this product the more I would hold off buying one.

The future of books is indeed electronic but I am just not sure if this device will become the &quot;standard&quot;. In a couple, three years or so there will be cheaper more versatile devices on the market that will make this kind of outdated. (Remember Beta Max vs VHS). So wait for the &quot;VHS&quot; type device to take root before spending cash on something like this.

true but milo what makes this one more attractive dan say the sony one is the wireless capabilities.

with the sony you have to upload and all sorts of things

with this one you can be sitting in a cafe on the beach and bam the book weh yuh ordered is delivered.


and yes they are working on a slimmer version of the kindle and moving around some of the keys.
