No disrespect Sir, but your atheist card (and all the privileges and perks that go with it) are in jeopardy. Atheists are not permitted to have past lives (please read the Rules on the back of your card!). </div></div>

I beleive that buddisms supports my theory! However I never said past life.. the assumption here is past.. Note the term I used is "another life".. too enigmatic for you ???
I apologise to disrupting the thread.. I think it is one of those threads that should be left alone.. Let those who want to express their faith do so.. And do so freely without need for explanation or rationalisation. Just faith... If I chose to worship my long dead gods I would do so here.. my intention was to encourage those participants to continue.. express your faith not argue it..
My setiment based is I lived in Muslim countries.. They carry faith lighter than in the west...It was nice that a man will simply stop off and go to a mosque in the middle of the day any day.. or simply stop by the side of the road get out a mat and pray.. I dont go and argue with him.. I repect him...I have been in taxis ans the driver asks if he can take tem minutes to stop at the mosque...If I have time I would say yes...That is the expression of his faith.. He gets back in and we continue. Or my driver asks if he can pick me up early so he can go to the Moque on friday... At time I have had to say no and apologised...He understood.....
Thats how I see this tread like like a muslim go to mid day prayer.. or dawn prayer..simple expressions of faith.. A derivation of comfort from that faith...
