mi wish my ppl dem di put likkle cream inna mi head. it woulda save mi alot of pain and suffering.

some people buy into the inferiority of not having. also no doubt some may get pleasure out of coming straight hair instead.
it is not about caring but an eye irritant to me as stated.
in any case, it reminds me to take time to really care.

It is odd that straight(ened) hair is considered more sophisticated or dressier. To me an occasional press or flat iron is OK as long as the hair isn't burnt thus permanently damaging the curls and coils. Sometimes you just want a change.

lawd u mek mi feel bad cause girlKia & I have an appt wid de hairdressa

She need a good condition and trim to even up the ends and true seh dem noh let people out of the salon wid wet hair dem gwine blow it dry and she also have a special occasion satideh

and I need a color

kia wont they just blow dry and style it or are they going to actually straighten it... I have never straitened my hair but I do blow dry cause mi nah walk round with wet head mi self.

Twiney if you get a Dominican blow out you hair will be straightened

das why mi no want them blow it ... mi have some Haitian with Dominican connection at church weh do them own but them say it take 45 min to 1 hr... Hell no ... Them is a set of long hair black people with normal texture like mine...

blow dry with roller brush - will take about 1/2 hr and no heated irons (the blow dry with brush straightens as it dries)

Flashback to neckback That happend to me, go get mi hair blow out fi mi trip home an literally walking down the steps of the plane you could see my hair go from bone straight to Afro

dem blow out her hair and den trim it and den style wid de flat iron.. my girlya a swing head mi hope seh she noh have neck strain tomorrow
