No it is not as bad as the principal's email but as the one who is teaching the children Language Arts, I think a better example should be set in writing.

It is choppy and written as a 5th grader would write it but 5th graders are capable of reading good writing so I think the example should be set.

battleAx strikes again

she pick pon girlkia yessideh and tell ar fi bring plastic spoon instead of the regular reusable spoon she carry fi have ar snack so it noh haffi wash and can dash weh

so mi tell girlkia it environmentally friendly to reuse which is why she have that spoon.

This morning mi put ar activia yogurt and the teaspoon she usually use in a ziploc bag. Today she tell girlkia she cannot go to the garbage to dispose of her yogurt container and she mus have snack whe noh have anyting fi dash wah

Of course the sensible thing the 5th grade teacher should do is just tell the kids snack time is over and designate one person from each group of desks to carry the trash to the bin. The same person from the group whose job it is to collect the papers and bring to the desk that day can also do that job. It is simple, effective and manageable.

So mi suggest to girlkia to please just leff the container at the end of her desk and take it to the trash when they get up to go to lunch.


This is minor compared to the other stuff happening. I respect teachers for all they do but this one seriously is making me want to go in for a day or two.

I agree with Rich. Give her a ziplock bag to put her garbage in and she can put the spoon in there to and just carry the whole thing home.

if the teacher continues after that, then maybe yuh can call a meeting with her ?
