You know what Boopie, I'm not talking about Bandi's situation directly but for some parents that situation works out best. My father lived in the states since I was 1 year old and I only saw him once e year. Mind you I had everything I could ever want/need materially it still did not make up for my father's not being there. I didn't live with my father until I was 17 years old and by then it was too late for me to form the bond with him that he would have liked.

Anyway, I am not saying that financial support from both parents is not necessary. The point I am trying to make is that material things are not all that a child needs and if he is getting everything materially and getting love, affection and attention from both parents then I don't see anything wrong with that. Especially if both parents are mutually agreeable on it. </div></div>

One of my cousin's is going through the same mess. He has given her bad checks, quit jobs so often just so he wouldn't have to pay. Has taken her to court so many times it isn't funny her son just turned 10 and can't stand his father. She never bad mouths his father but the child isn't stupid by any means.


Step If you had read the entire thread this is how I started on the topic, go and look in my post Revenge in general as well. This is not the first time I have been upset about no good father's not helping in any manner. Whether it be physically, emotionally or financially.Thank God for family and friends stepping in and helping these mothers. 9 times out of 10 their emotions are trying to get back at the child's mom, the child just happens to suffer right along with the nonsense.

lol lol Both of her kids are in school, In her case she stays home and takes care of other kids to bring in income. At night and on weekends she has a part time job where she has to take 2 buses way across town to work. Gets home just in time to grab a couple hours of sleep and then she's up minding the kids. Like I've said her friends have stepped in to help anyway they can children or not. There was one time out of many that it was raining buckets, they had no food in the house so she asked him to take her to the store. His answer was to call me to take her because he wasn't going anywhere.

And yes she was labeled stupid for staying with him blah blah blah.
