lawd, why the conversation about child support always go south and start being about how women are this, that and whatever?

Men can be as awful as women can be when it comes to being vindictive. I started out my post stating that my ex wouldnt help HIS CHILD financially because I chose not to be with him. But all I seem to hear are this imaginary stories about women doing some man wrong for child support. Seriously? Please believe that the pittance that most women receive under the guise of child support wouldn't even cover my mortgage much less my entire lifestyle.

Sorry to rant but fellas, unless your paltry child support check pays for the mortage, the utilities, the childcare, the food, the clothes, the sports, the health insurance and everything else a child needs on a daily basis, PLEASE stop crying that the money you are sending is some how allowing your ex to live a life of luxury.

bwoy, I wish I knew some of these women so I could cuss them out. all of my friends who are single mothers are sturggling to get by.

The only woman I know who collects child support but technically doesnt need it cause her husband is very rich, has put the $600/month payment she has received since her daughter was young into an investment vehicle and now the child has her education and all her hobbies paid for.

She didnt use a dime of it for any of her many manicures

And yes, I'd like to meet these women who are living high off the hog with child support checks. Cuz I don't know any personally either. All the single parents I know are struggling as well.

ok let me add that as far as the breakdown of the &quot;support payments&quot; goes, there are many more variables involved in exactly how a mother spends the money, but generally speaking, it doesn't cover all the mthly expenses for the child.

not necessarily, some women tend to be evil, just like some men tend to be evil where child support is concerned. It just shouldn't be this difficult.
