help with prom shoes, please

mi dawta prom dress is orange (well them call it persimmon, it's a reddy-orange), and she's trying to find shoes to go with it. she say she might look for white shoes, but somehow, that no seem right to me, though mi is not a fashionista.

looking for some ideas to help guide her in shopping for shoes. the dress look something like this:

I think gold sandals would look nice with that. Some thing very strappy with not a lot of colour to it. Or nude coloured sandals

Nude is a very big shoe colour this season.

BS - mi dawta don't like too much finglefangle, so bejewelled shoes are out of the question. she also say she want her heelback cover. and she no want too much platform. did i mention she is one picky child?

we were looking at some shoes last night, and she liked this one though she thought it would be too high, and she wasnt sure bout the colour:

this is promising. it have a little bit of platform and is a bit high, but the colour and cover heelback are pluses. mi wi show har this thread and see what she like.

kia, yes, is the horsey dawta (we fell out over that, she not really horsey again ). i'll see what she says about the shoe, i was thinking opposite to u, that she mite think the heel is a bit below the formality of the dress.
