I'm going to walk the mall while adale skates today... When I figure out my breaks and schedules then I'm going to the gym during my lunch. (got to incorporate breastmilk extraction into my day).Comment

Brown Rice Italiano
It's rice! It's a salad! However you decide to classify it, it's a tasty vegetarian dish with a pleasing variety of ingredients—including the always-welcome zing of garlic.
• 2 cups brown rice, prepared according to package directions and chilled until cool
• 1 large yellow bell pepper, seeded, cored, and chopped
• 3 large cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
• 1 cup sliced sun-dried tomatoes
• 1 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
• 1 14-oz. can artichoke hearts (canned in brine, not oil), drained and rinsed
• 1/2 cup pine nuts
• 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
• 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
• Salt and pepper (to taste)
• 2 10-oz. bags mixed salad greens, washed and dried
• 5 chopped small black olives (for garnish)
• 1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Place rice, pepper, garlic, tomatoes, basil, artichoke hearts, and pine nuts in a large mixing bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper; pour over rice mixture and toss. Arrange greens on a large platter; mound rice over greens. Garnish with olives and cheese. Mangia! Makes 8 servings.

I'm trying ... past two days I had dinner and breakfast. Missed lunch but had some fruits (apple, orange) and yogurt during the day time.
Last week was bad... just very bad. Stress overload set in and it wrecked a major havoc on my diet. I just did not felt like eating... so I didn't ate.
Trying to do better as I'm in the heights of training.Comment

Hope you get over what's ailing you, SandiF. Have you ever tried natural remedies like acupuncture? Or meditation?
When I'm stressed, I always want a drink - alcoholic of course! So I fall back on salty snacks before I turn into wino. Obesity vs. alcholism! What a choice, eh.Comment
