I was in Jamaica for 8 days. And to the brother out there, I aint the girl in the thong bikini not am I thin. I don't believe I was the sexiest girl there by far (from a mans perspective). I was not broken-hearted nor desperate. I was there to simply enjoy a week out in the sun, watch the evening shows, and eat new foods, learn about a different culture (as I have done on all of my other vacations). This man saught me out (and not in a bad way), he came up to me to talk to me and he's the one who kept coming back to me. And if, as you say, it was just about sleeping together, then why on earth would he tell me that "it's serious" and that we would communicate over the phone until we see each other again. Why would he pursue (insist on) a long distance relationship if you say it was just a vacation fling, especially after I told him I will probably not vacation in Jamaica again!?!?! I appreciate your point of you.
To the person who asked what I would do if this happened locally: It would happen the same way. However, I think there would have been a few dates before we would have slept together. That is the only difference there would have been.
