Today i became a member of the board to pay tribute to one of the sweetest and dearest online friend that one could ever hope to meet. It is with much sorrow & grief, that i write these few words to express my condolences to the family of Marcia (aka DIVA on jamaica-netlink). She was always a dose of fresh air in our little chat room and we had the pleasure of meeting her on one of our yearly boat cruise. Therefore, to me she was more than just an online persona. We'll miss you Marcia. May your soul Rest in eternal Peace!!!!

When the death bell tolls for one it does for all. Its real sad how someone can come in and out of our lives so quickly, yet leaving fond memories in our heart forever.

I am totally lost! I stayed away from the board a few weeks because of time constraint and came back today 7/23 to this news.

My condolences to her family. I never met her in person. Was recommended to her site when I needed receipes, so there and then I knew she was a important peson.

I had never interacted with Marcia here at Jamaicans.com but through other Jamaican websites. I was able to meet her once a few years ago. If there is anything that I could say, it would be that Marcia is as beautiful as she is on the inside as she is on the outside. Her smile, her upbeat personality always warmed the heart....CanJamDiva, you know you were one of the few who scored points in our books....Original Browning and Buffy will always remember you. You will be sadly missed. We know that you are in a better resting place. R.I.P Diva, Love Buffy(BuffBay) and OB(Original Browning). Davy and the rest of the family hold strong, God will see you all through this difficult time....Peace...Love....Guidance, Buffy and OB is out.

Yes… indeed Mountaingal,

She was and is very dear to me, maybe because I discovered her as a fully living Hue, and got a glimpse of her paradise. You know life has many surprises and love has only one law.

Thank you for noticing, I have a lot to say about her, and I am still in shock for I just heard the news just yesterday... And I am still running words that will run the honour in the memory of a dear beloved.

I learn to love her not by spoiling her beautiful Ebonite mysterious beauty that eternity is just about to star tasting and savouring the jus.

Thank you mountaingal, your precision delight me... as you have a sense of observation. You see sistah they are many dear ones here; you know this too as for Marcia is and will remain always the big sistah by virtue and the size of heart.

I will be back with more I need to fully praise her memory indeed I owe her... she has allowed me to discover and reconnect with Jamaica and jamaican. And allow them to rediscover the greatness of Xhamani they (Jamaicans) used to be.

She and others taught me many ways to be and deal with my people in this side of community... even though I am not easy to live with. She found always a way inside her understanding and overstanding experiences in this intricate importanct house-keeping of all the antaginistic party together regardless of their difference... The colour of blood has a lot of meaning to her.

I honour her for that, she was capable to stand for the right of her race, blood, legacy and appurtenance. And knew how to maintain the complex dynamic inside the Ebonite rainbow family formation.
