Mi sort of broach the subject this weekend and mommy decided that she nah go dance inna no old ooman outfit soh she a go have two dresses. One conservative church one fi see mi exchange vows but to let the catering hall knwo she requires a room in wich to change into what she call di bashment outfit. *fawda help*.

Mi nuh even have two dresses a one mi did plan fi wear but she want two. She also asked if we ar edoing the seated or buffet I said seated, she seh "oh cause fi mi stiletto heel too tall"

First of all, let me say that your relationship sounds like me and my mom, QueenB, for those of you that don't know. People have been assuming that we are sisters since I was about 13. And she is more than prone to act up!

Her dress for my wedding is a prime example:

We were doing fine with her dress for the wedding, it matched Scotty's suit. Sweet, right?

Yeah, until I realized that she considered acertain undergarment optional.

I mean, many people there were dressed casually, but MY GOD! We were not going to be in 0 gravity!

And when I was mortified, she got the most innocent, big-eyed look on her face, like "Why is this a problem?" [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

Thanks for the welcome. I am really enjoying your story, it's making me remember little things I forgot about the crazy time before the wedding, like this ordeal with the Queen.

The dress had a laced up front and was open almost to the waist. I woulda loved to have worn it without the bra. It was just opened enough to not show anything but bare skin. The top was crocheted, but fully lined no nippling at all! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

The longer it tek for a wedding to come round, the more expensive it is and the more chance it give people to mek dem own independent plan for your day. Day of my wedding, the number of guests doubled and my aunt even wanted tried shove in a few extra witnesses.

This weekend was T's weekend to be bothered with the wedding. He and the guys went to pick their tuxedos. Let me tell you I was on the phone with him for most of the time *re the blue tuxedo idea which was almost to blame for his untimely passing [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] *

We kept calling each other and while I knew he was quite excited I'd never seen him like this.

I mean seriously on Saturday I heard things like "baby lawd have mercy, mi try awn bout 30 suits an mi want all a dem" mi seh well either yuh a go have 30 wife or yuh gi mi 30 ring and we have 30 wedding but fi rite now choose juss wan.

Di man pause as if him a kansida di 30 wife ting den seh "no sah yuh is enuff, mi cyaan tek 30 a yuh, soh mi wi juss marrid yuh 20 more time"

mi axe him wah him mean dyam brite

But anyhow at 5:00 dem call seh dem haffi mek a decision now cause dem a lack di store. Mi cyaan beleive seh 4 man go inna wan store fram 10 a clack inna di mawnin an nuh come out soh till 5.

Well according to wah mi hear fram mi sis in law it look as if dem neva really dress up in a tuxedo before, soh dem try awn every ting an in deh a preten seh a fi dem wedd'n.

mi hear seh di best man him seh him a go proposition him girlfriend sayka how him look good inna tuxedo.

So the entire time was taken up planning how dem a go trash out fi di wedd'n.

Of course that wasn't T's version of events.

His version went like this

Me: Hello *inna sexy vice*

Him: I am leaving the store and I've found my tux:

Me: Hon you juss leaving the store

HIm Yes

Me: why did it take you so long

Him: Hon, I am marrying the love of my life and I want everythign to be perfect I am just making sure that I choose the right tux and shoes.

Me: BOAL gweh cause yuh sistah done prips mi pan wah a gwaan arreddy bunch a poppy show unu act like seh we have shopping issues and unu in deh a try awn di peeple dem suit fram dis mawnin [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]
