Re: Negril - A New Year and a new life...in Negril with some pictures!
Kim, you look soooooo happy! What a great day you had.....and did it your way! Everyone looks stunning, and I know your Grandmother is so happy for you. It's an amazing gift that you got her back to Jamaica...

Congrats QueenB, Kim and Scottie!!
I am relatively new to the board so I do not know you guys, but I too am crying for the beautiful story and photos. Ironically, today would have been my 3rd wedding anniversary, so these pictures stirred up memories.
I wish the newlyweds much joy and happiness and a long life together. A handsome groom and a beautiful bride! Congratulations!

Caf, and not one of us planned to "coordinate" the colors! All the women had blue with or without the tan, and all the men had beige or tan with or without the blue. I had bought the tan dress in September and had never worn it; somehow it just hung unmolested in my closet. Kim bought Scottie his suit without him seeing it or her seeing my dress or her knowing his size; and the color of his suit matched my dress exactly and fit him to a "T".
As for the day full of love and blessings--the whole trip was like that, with only a few glitches from you know who. But we even enjoyed those too. Nobody, and I mean nothing could spoil that time, except when it was time to leave.

Thanks for my Mom. I used to ask my dad how he got up the nerve to even try to date her, she was such a fox at 17 when they first started dating. He told me it had taken him about 5 years to get up the nerve. He used to wait for her to come past a certain corner (she was in grade school, and he was 7 years older, damn pedophile) and he waited until he thought she was old enough to date.
Jen is my sister's younger daughter, sister of Dani. She was the baby of the family for 20 years until my grandson was born 9 years ago.
