What a hoot!! My little shopping market - felt as if I should pick up some Hard Dough, cheese and some digestive biscuits, then down at the end of the aisle to pick up plenty of porridge for little one's breakfast and a tin of the sausage she likes ...

Thanks guys...where were you all tonight when Jonah wanted to be held all night??? I will wake you in an hour when he gets back up....(he doesn't feel good...both kids seem to have our allergies already). Anyway, back to Negril....when I walked into the bank, Cudge was stopped by a couple...hey, tourist...I had to laugh when I realized they were talking to him...in his New York team outfit (what is that basketball? I am clueless) and my Sony camera firmly around his neck on it's strap...DWL! They were friends of his from LB. He really did look like a tourist. Cole and I definitely need to get him some Sox and Pats stuff.....he should be wearing our championship teams if he is going to wear them!

Okay, tomorrow, maybe I can get my brain around the grittier realties....nuff for now. Q, you are just jealous of the Rasta....dwl...I do think his hair was real, even if he is not...but I dunno...why go to all the trouble...and he didn't hustle us at all....we bought a few nice little pins he made out of coconut shells for $3 US a piece....I hardly feel violated...I will have in "my yaad" anytime.

Usually those roots drinks are for men for (strong back)= sex ...
There are female roots tonic, but they can be harsh on your system, if you are not use to them.

Where there motorbike taxi's where you were? With 4 or 5 school kids hanging on?

MG, I thought so, too. Nuff people there are functionally illiterate, because they had to drop out of school at an early age to tend to the animals/work/fish and help the family. What struck my about this guy was that he had attended two different All Ages Schools, and the Secondary School in Sav....I know it happens all over, including the States, but for the life of me, I will never understand....

Rudemonk, the `tuna` is a variety of cacti. The flat oval leafed spiny cactus. Just like aloe vera aka. sinkle bible in Jamaica, it is soaked in water and used for kidney, bladder relief.

Tuna the canned fish in the store is hardly ever used and eaten by most Jamaicans. Sardines, corned (bully) beef and weiners canned are lots more popular. Tuna fish is more popular with the middle class Jamaicans and visitors. I think mainly because of the ignorance in preperation.
Many Jamaicans do not use nor store mayonaise, so there goes any inclination towards tuna.

Good morning Q. We call that prickly pear here in the States. It grows even here in the cold north. I saw enough of it growing wild in the bush in JA, though. Funny about the tuna, I was buying a few things for a friend of mine and her kids, and I picked up tuna (thinking protein) but Cudge said, no, she won't know what to do with that, and handed me a tin of bully beef instead...

There you go Green B. Bully beef the meal in a can. Another canned loveed is mackerel.
Sardines, mackerel and bully beef are easy to prepare. A dish, a knife to cut up onion and pepper raw. A fork to mulch everything together.
Hardo bread and a cool drink and we all gone to bed.
