Imanni and I take a nap, and when we wake up the sun is setting already [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img]

We rush to get ready, and out to the beach we go...

I see this rasta who was selling his paintings a couple days ago when I had no JA $$ I hail him up and he shows me his art. I fall in love with one painting, and give him all the JA money I had on me for it. It was a steal, and I LOVE it! [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70377-loveeyes.gif[/img] can't wait to get it framed and hung on my wall...

I ask the man if I can take his picture for my trip report and he says I can [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70371-jump.gif[/img]



Imanni playes in the sand and water, and I watch the sunset....






















Darkness comes all too quickly, and we head back to the room [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]

I decide that I am going to take Imanni to dance on the beach tonight [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif[/img]


We go back to the room and get ready. I take forever, and Imanni is ready to go! He starts playing with my clothes [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img]






I talked to Jean earlier, and she says they will have the estimate for the table in the morning. I call jagypsy and tell her, and again I tell her not to worry...

She invites Imanni and I down to her yard, and I tell her we will come.

We take a taxi down there, and Imanni is excited to be out.

We sit on Jagypsy's veranda for a while, and Imanni plays in the Gardens there. He likes jagypsy she gave him suckers earlier that day. But now every time he sees her he is asking for more suckers [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70392-silly.gif[/img]

Poor jagypsy, Imanni loves you for more than your suckers, I promise [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif[/img]


I enjoy the time we spent there that evening, thanks so much for having us over [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70409-waytogo.gif[/img]

So I decide we better go, and Swedish says she wants to come with us...

We walk out to the street, and up a ways to Alfreds...


There are people set up alongside Norman Manley Blvd. selling their food, drinks, fruit, you name it, it was there...

I have a tight hold on Imanni's hand, and we are walking...

Off to the right a man asks if we want some fruit, or coconut.

My son hears coconut and stops in his tracks.
"coconut" he exclaims his smile widening... [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img]

"You want some coconut bwoy"
"Yes, I like coconut" [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif[/img]

Now if ya'll read my countdown thread you know that Imanni wanted to go to Jamiaca to drink from a coconut. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img] He talked at length before we left about how much he wanted a coconut. Now he must have gotten this idea from Diego or something, but he's been waiting all week for one...

Off the side of the road there is a chair, and I make Imanni sit there while I dig through my purse for some money. The guy chops up the coconut, and brings it to Imanni. The gleam in his eyes is great, and I break out the camera...



He is all but drooling for the coconut, and the man puts the straw in...


Imanni takes one drink, and the gleam in his eyes goes away [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img]
