Yeah, you might want to wait because there are going to be different versions of the IPhone coming out soon and they will be 8-16GB's. The prices will be the same lowered prices as well but of course they aren't written in stone.

The sad thing about the phone is what I heard at work today. People are spending their bill money, car payments, house notes, etc on the phone. Seriously! When activating the phone, sometimes problems occur and they have to call the customers to let them know and they are finding customers whose house phones have been "disconnected" for non-payment! One man had to pay a $500 deposit for the phone and he bought the $500 IPhone. He broke it in 2 days and went back and bought another one. $1500! One Lady said if that was her husband she would divorce him.

For the people who can afford to buy one without selling the house, congratulations! If you can afford the phone, please invest in the case. Apple has NO warranty for that phone whatsoever. Forget about Insurance unless you link it with your homeowners/renters insurance. But like my Samsung Blackjack, I bought it July 30th and they opened up Insurance for it 2 weeks later, [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/dance01.gif[/img], they will eventually offer it somewhere down the road. In the meantime, if you lose it or break it on day 1, it's your broken/lost phone and your 2 year contract. Be careful. </div></div>

Wow Ms. Goody...thank you for that information! yes I am eagerly awaiting my cell phone company changing hands to AT&T. It's a pretty big company as it is, and I have been with them since around 1995. I love my iPod and now I want a iPhone!!

So Tattywatty, what happens when the phone rings when listening to your tunes? If you have the sound cranked it the noise earth shattering? I use my iPod while melting glass...it is awesome. OK, which brings me to the next important question...can you turn the phone part off and listen to your movies and tunes?

And PS to whoever said they don't sell i-Ponds anymore? I see them for sale here at all the stores. They still want big bucks for them too.

mi friend did buy the pearl and it bruk and him nuh have nuh warranty [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/704555_dwl.gif[/img] dem nevah offah none..good ting him did have him razr(weh not a ting wrang wid [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img]

unnu membah the razar weh did come out was like 499 and in the same year it drap to 199 and den to 99 (after mi company discount mi get ie fi 28)

I'm still upset that I chose the Samsung Blackjack over the Blackberry Pearl. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad2.gif[/img] I like the keypad on the Pearl but the phone is smaller than the Blackjack and I went for size. Now I have to use the tips of my fingernails just to hit the darn keys. AARRGGH!!!
