Oh I say that so nice when deep down I am CRABBY! It is freekin -26 this morning! That's -32 in Canadian speak. I am really really really really really sick of this. And sick of hearing my furnace run and run.

I gotta finish Katrina's necklace this morning so I can move on to something else! I already know what the something else is gonna be I have been trying to get to it!

Well forget customer service in Jamaica!! Flow called and asked directions to the home for cable hookup. We saw him on the road a little ways from our home. I started waving and hoped he saw us. Well he didn't arrive and didn't call. So Ted called him back. He says there are no cable lines toward our home, so he left. Didn't even check to see if we could run more cable across the way from where our neighbor has it. I think that Flow is the bunk. Before this they told me in December that someone would contact me in 24 to 48 hours. Never happened. Then Orbra and I saw a serviceman on the west end road, talked to him and he said he would be up the next day. Never happened. Then someone called from Flow and asked if I still lived in Mobay. They bought Omni Cable that I had there and were contacting all past customers. That's how this trip happened for the service man. He didn't even let us explain how we thought it could be done. YUCK!!!

Beautiful day here. So sorry Nooks about your crummy weather. Come on down girl! We'll warm you up with some nice rum cream and Ted's homemade soup.

Finally able to log on and just wanted to say that even though I was unable to reply my Jamiacholics Family has been in my thoughts and prayers and I love and admire all that you guys do to make this a better world.

I am still learning and loving this place and feel blessed to be in a position to do what I am doing.

one of the young men cousins over by Montego Bay was out at a party last night ... random drive by shooting - three dead, one wounded - his cousin is one of the dead.

just 21 years old - he help grow him ~

Late Saturday Night Update:
Betty is improving daily we think..?
She had an infection and retained too much water so a quick trip to the doctor was in order on Wed. for meds.

Her pain is still a concern but she's doing her best to fight through it with the help of the meds.
She is doing her walking and eating well, but her emotions and frustrations are her real battle now.
The infection is looking better I think but we'll know more on Tuesday when we return to the doctors to have the staples removed...ouch.

Well thats all from Nurse Stan for now.

Well, on Friday we had rain storms and tornado warnings. This morning we've got snow mixed with rain. It's not gonna stick though cause the high is supposed to be 39 today. This weather is crazy. Schultz, I would rather have my 20 below and snow than a tornado. BTDT and I never wanna do it again. Mostly this is a tornado free zone but they do come so you just never know. This area is supposedly one of the safest for that though. It's only 10 below this morning, but still...

Well, here is my little Katrina tea party necklace and it's artist statement for entering it in an online art show on EBSQ. You all wanna see some BEAUTIFUL jewelry, come one over to have a look!

Katrina's Tea Party</span>

A couple of weeks ago I was sent a photo of my granddaughter Katrina, depicting her having a fun little tea party with her stuffed animals. Katrina was wearing a white floppy hat and most of her stuffed animals wore hats as well.

Katrina will turn 5 years old this coming week and it seemed to me like a no brainer that she would love it if I made her a necklace with her tea party as a theme.

I lovingly made each of the 51 lampwork beads in this necklace myself, using the flame of my torch and rods of Italian glass. I made replica's of Katrina's stuffed animals, and a paper doll style little blonde girl starring as Katrina. I used the photo as a reference to copy Katrina's little stuffed animals.

The whole time I was working on making the beads for this necklace, as well as while putting it together...it made my heart sing to be able to give my grandaughtersuch a fun little gift as this.

This necklace is 20 inches long and strung on cord. I made it long enough that Katrina can just pull it over her head when she wants to take it on and off.

Happy 5th Birthday Katrina! I Love You!

Morning everyone else. My buddy has run away for a few days so my life is back to hmmm, something different. Miss her already.

It is a B E A U T I F U L Sunday morning here.


I am having a women's dinner party this evening at sunset with 6 of my good friends. We haven't done that for awhile and I am looking forward to it. A friend brought me a jar of mole back in December so I'm making chicken mole and everyone is bringing a dish. I'm sure well have a great time, a mixture of local and foreign women.

My camera is not working for some crazy reason otherwise I would show you the display case my neighbors built for me out of mahoe wood. It is so nice, I just about dropped over. So today I am going to oil it with coconut oil and leave it natural looking. I also have to put the foam in it and cover it so I can hang necklaces in it. I'd like to have it done and hanging up in the recording studio tomorrow, that's where it's new home is going to be with my pieces in it for the artistes to buy.

If I can take some time to find the book I will try to fix my camera today and take some pics.
