I packed over the weekend ~ just my last bit of shopping this weekend to finish and stuff in ...

Mid-March ~ YeeHaa!!

I recieved one of those "chain-letter" e-mails last week ... for St. Patricks Day wind-fall ... the more you send to - the bigger your 'wind-fall' will be - Yada Yada.

so - we ALL need a wind-fall ... and I forwarded to just a little handfull of people on my list.

Saturday - laundry day ... I DID grumble and grumble when I moved into this apartment about having to do laundry in a 'public' machine (ya never know WHAT others might be washing - ) ... SO - I empty the lint tray - and out pops a washed and rolled up 2 $10.00 bills ...

MY WIND-FALL ... Lord Jesus ... WHY did I not send the St. Patty Jig guy off to THOUSANDS MORE???? wonder what might have fallen into my hand then???

anyhoo .... $20.00 is nuff nice ~ THANKS St. Patty's Jiggy Guy!!

Nooks ... it WAS GLORIOUS over the weekend.

My deck faces South/West ... yesterday afternoon I sat out in shorts and no sleeves ... chatting to Seveen while I took the sun ~ it feels ever so good!

hey Laurel & QuteKate, very cute money find! I found about 15.00 the other day (folded, BTW) in my spring jacket!

Yes my dad brings Molly to visit her and after today's surgery they will soon move to assisted living. She is working very had to get out of the nursing home. They can bring Molly to the assisted living but not until the wrist is healed but she has a friend that will keep her until then.

I get another 50 degree day tomorrow! YAYYYY!!!!!!!!!

Nan, So happy to hear she'll be getting into assisted living. So much better than the nursing home. It'll be a lot for your dad, but I'm sure he'll be more at peace with her in their own space.

Finally had a visit with Ethan last night. He's over 10 lbs. Not bottle feeding yet, but his feeding tube <span style="font-weight: bold">is</span> bigger than a strand of angel hair pasta! He's also been on the move!! getting out and about in his new stroller, staying overnight at his grandma's...
Only a few more months and they'll start the reconstructive surgeries.

beautiful weather here - flowers blooming - grass growing - sun shining bright (so bright it gave me a migraine)

hey ROOTS i'm in jacksonville, the first coast - a couple of hours from beautiful savannah, georgia

up reworking my resume - so i can look brand new

got a couple of calls from out-of-state - in the freezing tundra - well gonna have to try them - work is work - although i won't be a happy camper

abu is all into his track - he says he's the smallest guy on the team - heck - he's the smallest kid in his grade - next to his good friend montana who is taking growth hormone - his mom is only 4'11 and cute as a button

i'm happy to hear baby ethan is doing good and gaining weight - the good thing is he will never remember any of this

nanook - sorry to hear about your mom - it's really hard watching our parents get old - my mom at 83 gets up everyday and does a crossword puzzle - in pen - i'm proud of her - she has managed to keep her faculties and no falls

stormmey - your little bro is in my prayers - deep experience to go through at his age

okay - so off to manage abu - or he'll never make it to school

It is very slow on this end. Right now Georgia has the highest unemployment rate that they have had in 16 years!!! However, I am keeping the faith! I know something will come along when it is time.
