too right - every day I hear the news about Madeoff ~ ii yii yii ~ and the AIG .... one side of the excuse/report stated they had to hold to the contracts and make the pay-outs to retain quality employees ... and the other side stated some on the pay out list are also on the 'get fired' list !!!!

Yep I am car shopping but not ready to pounce quite yet. I bought my Dodge Intrepid brand new in 1997 but it has 197,000 miles on it now and soon will need maintenance that will cost more than it is worth. I will miss it when I have to replace it though! I'll prolly keep it for making dump runs and hauling straw bedding for the dogs and such. The AC hasn't worked in years and I am looking forward to having a car wherever I can keep the windows rolled up and not have to listen to traffic noise from semi trucks on my rides to town!

spring break is coming up for abu - i'm trying to convince myself that doing day stuff costs the same as going to jamaica - NOT

NDG - you're a tiny thing - abu's birth mother was petite but he as strong as an ox - he helped me move a TV - he's all muscle - he thinks he has a 6-pack - more like ribs

and the two of us together would look like mutt and jeff - i'm 5'8 - but the men i know who say they are that tall - are shorter than me

nanook - i would be dead in a day up there - i turned my heat on this morning for a little blast - it was 62

i'm peeved because i worked for almost all the bailout companies and it didn't save any jobs - my collegues that were &quot;laid off&quot; with me are also still looking for work - and they are not in jacksonville

and madoff with that ponzi scheme makes me wonder about all the brokers - how could he get away with it so long - and with such big name clients - he must think he's trapped in his dog's cage about now - oh wait - his dog probably has a better house than mine

Good morning again and I did forget it was St.Paddy's day! I started my job at the paper mill 20 years ago today, and life as I knew it ended in one fell swoop. If I had it to do over again, the money wasn't worth what I did to mostly my body, and also my mind. If you ever saw the movie North Country, that was me just 50 miles south, at the same time, same everything else. My dad used to work in the mines and told me I should get a job there because they were hiring women but I chose the papermill instead because it was closer. I must say the money was awesome at the time, but I am paying every single day for it still. They tried to break me, but they couldn't/didn't.

Enneyway, I've been out shooting pics of jewelry now it's time to go shovel up poop in the yard and clean the house a little before making some beads. All the melting is leaving me some ugly messes! ewwwwwwwww.

DG, I am so happy for you!!! Congrats on doing so well!
