Hello Annie enjoy yu chrip me already PM yu me liss juss stop by the Jamaican family and they will give you the tings to bring back

Well the fires still burning out here, not as bad as before some people let back into their homes, another set though have to vacate the blastid wind keep changing or other fires keep catching

Anway got up to make me BM cawfee wid rum cream, so swallow that and going back to bed only 6:30. Have a good day all

So - I leave work and reach home to finish the prep for Jaith ... I prepare some food items - new recipes to offer her ...

I bake a pastry with carmelized onion &amp; herbs, tomato and olive pon my old old cushion-aire bake sheet along with a yummy jallepeno popper mac &amp; cheese - both are in the oven and notice a little sumthing pon my coil burner ... I futz with it and try to make sure the burner is plugged in - I turn on the burner full on - very often these coils just do not come on properly ...

Jaith calls - she has arrived, I pull my items out of the oven to make sure they do not burn while I go down to help her bring her things in.

we reach back to my apartment, come in and I smell 'BURNING' ... Jesus Mary n Joseph ... my bake sheet is on the burner coil and that coil is BLAZZZIN RED HOT - melting my bake sheet ....



crisis averted ... transfer my near finish pastry onto a different bake pan - and finish baking .... this is the result ~ ever so lovely flavor!!



and the popper mac &amp; cheese ...

We decided we will take the train downtown - so we can avoid having to drive far is we drink much ...

I bought a table ... and bless First Ave.'s cotton socks .... I have gotten a table whenever I go to a show there - and somehow - I end up with the best one - I had the best seat in the house ... THANKS First Ave.

Jaith decides she will have a beer and my favorite bar tender is not at the bar by us - and I do not trust just anyone with my margarita .. so I opt for a Smirnoff Ice ...

well - her beer comes in this giant size - and my smirnoff is just a little mini normal ...DANG - I was wishing I could have had a big one as well.

we did laff and laff at the size of her drink ...

she could only handle one - and I managed my entire night with two S-Ice's ... nuff nice they were ...

The Lady singers - Harmony House Singers (??) did a very lovely job ...

another featured lady artist - not sure of her name at the moment and no photos - but AWESOME VOICES all of them ...

next up - the main event - Beres ... YeeHaa!!!

Sadly - we had to leave before The Man finish his night so we could catch the train back to our cars ... and it turns out we could have driven - cuz none of us drank too much ... could have driven home.

oh well ... tomorrow is another day ~ we each flop into a bed ...

it is like an ice box in my apartment when I run the A/C ... and Jaith was too cold - we we turned it off and open the deck door to enjoy the morning breeze - and it is HOT ... so I peel off my jeans and am in my sleep clothes ... baggy and bra and t-shirt .... Jaith in her sleepin dress ...

I get to cookin and she gets to mixxin ... we pick the Mojito first ...

she had brought up some JB Overproof .. and being the bean-counter ... things haffi measure to the 'exact' - fixes us a lovely drink ... but it was so little!! three caps of Mojito Mix to one cap of Overproof over some ice

Yumm-OOO!! we did enjoy it ... and I cooked up a little sumthin in my Jamaica cook pot .... looked at this .... can you smell it???

a potato and basil fritatta ... tried and tru - it was ever so good!!
