Nooks and QK, nice pics. Yesterday I went to a friend's home for dinner. She invited the lady that does machine quilting for us. It was a lovely meal of roast pork, salad, red potatoes, red pickled cabbage, rolls. The local tomatoes in the salad were so dark red and meaty.

This week is full of doctor and dentist appointments. Followup on doctors. Also see my tax client for final review of 2007 tax return before final printing.

I think I'm not quite awake yet, I read the above as red pickled cabbage rolls and went

Scary giant seagull & minature surfers!!

The seagulls were quite the hams this trip, they managed to get themselves into quite a few photos...

So we made it thru another Monday and the summer is passing quickly. Any end of season plans? Labor day soon come enoh!!

how is everyone doing? i'm sad summer is ovah...but will be happy for the rest. i have no plans for the upcoming weekend....praise the lord....maybe my liver can catch a break. lol

The waves were the result of Hurricane Bill. Was wondering if you felt the effects up there in Maine? Heard you guys were gonna ketch some of the heavier rain. Or were to inebriated to know this?

i've been running up and down the state all summer.

yes, we got some Bill up here...but very little rain...just angry seas. i'm sure you heard about the dozen or so people that got swept into the sea at Acadia. Sadly, one seven year old girl died.

i was at a wedding on saturday on pemaquid point and it was a beautiful day...thankfully.

it rained that late that night...or maybe that was sunday morning?

I have NO plans for the rest of the summer but to enjoy having some ME time. loops I hear ya and QK & JMiss I know you've had an action packed summer too. I'm so glad the fair is over with that was my last commitment. Will I just sit around relaxing and gathering moss? OH HELL NAW...but it no commitments that has me excited.

I'm slamming caffine gonna feed the dogs then run up to the casino that's 40 miles away and procure BB King tickets for our group. They go on sale at 10 and I'll be there. BB is coming in October and the casino venue is small and personal. I'm all excited about that!

I heard about those people yesterday. How sad.
We only got out to see the tail end of the waves out in Truro. Couldn't believe the people who were letting their kids play in those waves!!

Hoping for an extended summer, since we got screwed at the start!

totally agree with you on the extended summer thang qk...the first two months were a waste. august has been nice and hot though...finally had to get out my fan.

i posted this in gd yesterday, but feel to share with you all the wedding arch i decorated on saturday. came out pretty nice, if i do say so meself.
