I'm filling my face with awesome cinnamon french toast then I'm outa here...before I come home I'll have a new battery for my new scooter dropped off. They cost almost twice as much as a car battery! Now that the tourists are going home I can ride go scooter zooming!

My 8 year Anniversary linked to my BimBim on Saturday as well ~

gosh - it is a PERFECT day here so far today ... wish I was playing hookey again ... supposed to be rainy and chilly on Saturday ~ no swimming ~

Happy to say my mom got a place up here and will be coming home in the fall

So far so good with the little one

I'm going over to pick Lima beans in a few, if they are ready.
Going to freeze them I guess.

Congrats Laurel on your anniversary. Ted and I had our 5th this year. Seems like yesterday, feels like yesterday. He still treats me as good as when I first met him.

Went to the dentist yesterday for checkup and cleaning. NO cavities.

I'm off to stay with a daughter who lives out of Portland, Or so may not be on here for a few days.

Roots, do they live in the Matanuska Valley near Palmer out of Anchorage? They get 22-23 hours of daylight in the summer there. I have seen cabbages that big when visiting friends in the area. The cabbages are loosely woven inside, but still taste good.
