I ordered jerk pork and festival. The pork tasted fair to fine, and it wasn't hot. The festival was good though.

For the past couple of days, I had been trying to get in touch with nephew. Finally, on Saturday night I make contact. He is still as cute as ever.

Every Jamaican wedding I have attended the bride is very late, and the groom paces, sweats a lot, and looks anxious, like maybe he thinks she has backed out....is this just part of the show, the whole ting????

I love that place, wall to wall men. And nothing beats the excitement and animation when the horses come down the final stretch. It was late in the day when we got there, so we only took in a few races.

I didn't place any bets. It was just enough to soak in the atmosphere. Next time I go, I am going to tape the shouting used to bring in the horses.

I hear so much about Caymanas from my Dad - I would love to visit one day.

Is it only weddings that someone is late? Isn't that a regular at every function?

I am still stunned when I go to wedding and it starts on time.
