me deh yah a relax soooo much...havent been on teh internet....been by Scotchie.....awrite..mi neva eena di filet fish ting...dem pepperpot was okay......afta all a long time mi no have none...

Ochie is a big drag..not like di Ochie of before,..di big cruise ship park but no tourist no deh bout..an dem drivers..y dem feel seh u a dem pickney..dem a tell u weh fi go n peeps a hitch pon u like u employ dem/..one man a get funky wid mi bout mi fi chat wid mi driver before me go off..mi juss raise mi yeyebrow n walk weh....

but i did find a gold bangle wid mi name pon it...i love it...love the design of dis bangle so had to get it

ankle doing soooo good..knee still alikkle jiggy but mi rested...to get up n get dressed is a bother...but mi haffi dweet sometimes...mi tink mi might mek one meal a day if dat..odda dan dat been doin nada...

find out dat is a britisher own di hotelS n lease dem out to a Columbian hence the spanish speakers...

every store in this duty free shopping area is Ochie is owned by an Indian...di shop dem near di Hotel owned by Indian..went into di supermarket n had to ask di owner if a so him mean to himself..di place hot sooo till...mi no know how di workers dweet...but as one driver seh to me at least wid di whole heap a indian n di shop dem locals get a wuk..wat kind of wuk n di conditions r iffy but dem get a wuk...wat a sad epitaph for workers...juss get a wuk

breeze plus sun plus rain is sooo relaxing...the bungalows r thatched so dem sound nice wid di rain..even doah mi see hole mi no feel no rain

di fuss nite in di place mi had was fi handle a one...mi waited fi see howlong it would tek him fi bring me a juice as opposed to dose around mi him was practising him accent pon 20 minits later mi had a discussion wid di relevant party as to y staff shouldnt treat who dem tink is local , diffrant...

but i am relaxed..have to admit to dat...not bored yet but am relaxed wid the inactivity...really needed it indeed

tourist industry workers are being robbed:

little pay
little hours
boss yelling at them in front of folks
little to no tips
long hours
forced time off (otherwise called hotel renovation time)
forced time off (slow season)

Seveen it is heart breaking to find out the stories behind the advertising...dont get me wrong...these workers want to work and r glad to have an income...but they r not satisfied r believe they r being done right....

the tourbus drivers, JUTA , taxi drivers who have these side deals wid shops r a trip n a joke...they really believe they can tell u wat u should do an where u should go...one sideman told me dat mi cannot leave until mi tawk to di driver...mi stop, turn round n juss look pon him...den slowly turn n walk away...because u tek mi from mi hotel, dat dont mean u can tell me whe fi go shop...

the island need to diversify wid products...u cannot sell ongle Bob r wicheva person is the flavour of the month...dem already available on the world market due to current technology....the tourist industry is broken in many a way

and again i ask, how are all these people from teh East getting into Ja n being able to set up shop ovanite...all dem shops etc r hot as hell....no facilities fi dem workers...
