Yuri, I'm lovin your report, but can't see the last pic on pg. 3 , none on pg. 4 & only the last 2 on pg. 5....same thing happened to me on my report. Can anybody else see these photos?...or is it just me?

If you gave him a seaside mansion, he'd give it right back to you. Always goin' on about how dangerous a force it is ... nothing can stop it ... it's worse than earthquake or fire ... blah blah blah. To be honest, I couldn't even believe I go him to go to Mayfield Falls - yet here he is, all UP under the water.

The property at Mayfield Falls makes love to your eyes. More than anything, it is just fiercely peaceful.

Quiet.

Had we known, we’d have come prepared to spend the night.

Yep – they have a couple – I think 3 or 2 – little rooms that you can sleep in. They charge about $60 a nite.

Oh sorry - these aren't the rooms! There's 3 little 'hut's I guess you call them - that are on the grounds. The front of them face the river - this is the view from the back.

It's just an open door hut structure with a table and built in bench inside.

We ate our lunch in there - which our guide brought to us ...

We were sitting inside when a little girl appeared and kept peeping in.

She was DYING [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/helpsmilie.gif[/img] to get a push on the swing but nothing would make her ask.

She was adorable.

Hubby couldn’t resist.

I think he enjoyed it more than she!

We sat by the riverside for a few hours – ate – talked – drank – napped – woke up – did it all over again.

Our guide stayed with us for a while too – reason likkle bit.

He’s worked at the Falls for 5 years. He took us a few places on the property he wasn’t supposed to – was very interesting.

I asked him if there was a high turnover there & he said no.

The employees are a tight group and work closely together - you could tell too - they were like brothers. Ongle no an den – once in a very blue moon, yuh fine smaddy leff.

Told us how he thoroughly enjoyed his job and BOY is he good at it, let me tell you – on many different levels.

I was shocked when he told me that his father is here looking about his papers for him to come to the US.

If all goes well, he’ll be here before fall.

I asked him why - why?

Why’s he leaving?

He explained he has a new son – 4 months old...

Same story – it’s just become too hard he said.

Too hard on too many fronts – especially now with a child to take care of.

Broke my heart.

Aye sah.

What’s to become of us …
