Seveen everytime I read this story it makes me tear up (in a good way) ... Yep they are definitely brothers and I love that you feel like you have a new family. There is often resentment and bitterness and other emotions involved in similar situations but no kid wanting to stay and no kid wanting to leave (which I assume they are hanging on to what they they have while embracing the new relationships) speaks volumes. Some good people are involved and one of them is you. A friend of mine who was adopted is meeting her mom for the first time (she's 35) this summer and I am asking your permission to share this story with her.

i put the story on the INTERNET - so of course you can share it! i want it shared -- "grandma" and i pinched each other this weekend - because we both were overwhelmed by the experience . . . and we got along perfectly - not fake - not like --- would you like a cup of tea? she got in my kitchen and cooked - she had my son and his brothers cleaning, plucking weeds and monitoring them - lol - abu's face was riduculous one day --- like rescue me

it was all good - i will write up the rest of the story - and share a few more photos

What an amazing story! By page 5 I couldn't see the words through the blur of tears in my eyes.....

I am SUCH a believer in synchronicity Sevs..you know that! The fact that you HAD to find that box, at the exact time that Abu's grandma told is brother is amazing and underlines that everytg happens when it is supposed to! Xo gonna keep reading now for the full story!

he didn't know about me until 2 weeks ago - his grandmother told him about me then

now i hear the twilight zone music playing in the background because 2 weeks ago is when i re-found the memory bag with the bread crumb - after not seeing it for 5 years - spooky

and mom mom - they passed right by us this summer - on their way to universal studios

and mom - guess what - he doesn't have ADHD but my little brother does

MOM - i have <span style="font-weight: bold">2</span> brothers

so from october until evey day - the brothers bothered us - irritated us - got under our skin

but finally it was time for me to meet &quot;grandma&quot; on skype

she was over there doing her thing

i was squinting to see what she looked like

told her she and the guys were welcome - even gidget the dog was welcome

and we worked it out - and she drove 5 hours and

packed the food she bought a added it to our now combined refrigerator

NO BETTER WAY - TO TO TELL A NEW FRIEND

THEY ARE WELOME . . . than to say

you can go in the fridge :-)

this is the brother's first scoping each other out - not on skype phone
