I know that based on all my years spent on this forum the tone is very racists, however I what cannot determine is the colur of the proponents of this.
One thing I do know though, even at home as a Rastafarian I have never heard such vile arguments put forth about Whites, especially about White Jamaican.

This take some doing because as I have said, I watch while white businesses were burnt to the ground and they were hounded out of Jamaica, however this was done by largely illiterate Jamaicans, I can not believe that us who have the benefit of travel and distance can still harbour the backward and unproven arguments that we use to castigate our own people for no reason other than the colour or shade they were born with. </div></div>

There was a study that was done in Jamaica during the 1970s and it has been replicated MANY times. It's discussed in the book Adolescence in Jamaica. Black Jamaican teenagers were asked to describe their ideal mate and almost without exception they described VERY light peopel with Caucasian features. These were young people who were born after independence. So yes, it's a problem in our psyche and I don't know when we will overcome it as anyone who tries to call attention from Garvey time until the present is attacked.

You should come up here to Toronto and she how de man dem flock afta White women. The ones that fascinate me are those who are supposedly dread with a full head of locks with dem White Canadian Rasta woman. Listen, NO ONE is taking away from Bob Marley's strengths. He was an incredibly talented man and his reach was global. BUT, he was not God or a saint, not even close. He had his faults. He did rooks off and breed NUFF woman NOT JUST 1 Jamaican White woman. It is estimated by family members that he had over 20 children and most were not with Rita.

I wouldn't expect you to care. Right now the playing field is sloped in favour of Black men. Most humans are selfish and can't see past their own self-interest. SOME Black men only seem to care about racism and racial discrimination when it impacts them personally.

Well then you know more than the census bureaus of Jamaica, the USA, the UK, and Canada combined.

If there isn't a shortage, why is this not reflected in the stats. You tell me. Where are these Black men? Are they invisible? Is that why they aren't counted come census time.

You once posted that in one specific age group in the USA (mi noh remember which), there were more Black men earning mid to high incomes than Black women...remember that RichD? You seem to forget that just because a man is earning a certain income or or just because he has attained a certain level of education, this doesn't mean that he will restrict his choice of a marriage partner to his &quot;peers&quot; (for want of of a better word). He isn't going to automatically select a Black partner yet alone a Black partner with a certain income of educational level. Many men seem to look at other attributes <span style="font-style: italic">clearing throat </span> when selecting partners.
