1990s, I was SHOCKED to hear some older BLACK Jamaicans say that when they go into a bank in Jamaica and see all of the Black faces, they're frightened. The people I heard say this were in their 90s at the time and it wasn't one or two, trust me.</div></div>

Mico use to be use to train hed teachers for the allage schools that could not educate thildren to th e level that ris reruired for college entrance. colloege nedded Senior cambridge/GCE. the other colleges only trained wpmen for all age schools. they couldnt work in highs chools. Even today many of the teachers colleges still teach ein high schools. </div></div>
] many children who failed the Common Entrance or never sat it for whateva reasons, had another avenue open to them...1st Year/2nd year and 3rd Year Exams..many said that 3rd Year was harder than Cambridge, tougher Standards and many a professional, even Doctorate Holders that I know personally, got accepted to Schools abroad with those qualifications.
