if you don't know where you are coming from you won't have a referance point as to where you can go...
if the early egyptian dynasties were black...why is everyone so against us identifying that...
there was no problem when everyone thought they were white or arabs;
but now that there is greater proof they were africans in africa everyone has a problem...

When the Arabs invaded East Africa they intermarried with the locals. The people that you find there have a varied degrees of &quot;Arab&quot; in them. The closer you get to the coast the more Arab they are.

This trip I am flying with pilot who's a perfect example of this. He's an Arab. However his grandfather came from Zanzibar. That's where the little black come in. After a few beers, he considers himself black.

Like BP said, society make up these foolish schemes that every thing must neatly fit into.
Well the reality is that it's not that simple.

to be honest with you the majority of people still think the ancient egyptians were white...
to this day on naqt geo or discovery channel; EVEN WHEN ACKNOWLEDGING THE AFRICAN PRESENCE IN ANCIENT KEMET THEY USE WHITE ACTORS TO PORTRAY THE PEOPLE...
there has been deliberate and mean-spirited attempt to whitewash the history of that region...
it is not 'worship' when one attempts to combat that dis-information and revision of history...
and since african people are in crisis globally, i think positive aspects of their history should be clarified instead of falsified;
they already flood us with propoganda about how savage &amp; depraved africa/ns are; so why hide the positive aspects?

they were africans in africa by means of naturalization which never existed at the time. of course they were born in africa whatever they were. there was not even an african identity at that time

For once I find two people I agree with on this subject....

We are multifascited creatures, creatures not simple of minor genetic identity but products of history.. Synergies of multiple heritage. (Yess even I the Taino think that.. After all Egyptians were Taino originally!) ... no doubt your friend would do at the world cup exactly like so many muslim africans.. Suport teams from the Arabic world and Africa.... the idea of simplictic linear heritage or identiry is a misnomer....

i don't buy it...

think of how different one would perceive america if we currently thought the original inhabitants were white people of european descent and that native americans and africans were late immigrants;

yes indeed it would be a very different america...or the caribbean and mexico for that matter;

Arabs like Indians and Pakistani's, hue ranges from caucasian through to black.
