Yaawwn...I don't know why I went down that road with you anyway, my whole statement says exactly what I mean.... you nor the other persons talking a back a nonsense have not look at the nuts and bolts. Everyone knows <span style="font-style: italic">(or should know by now)</span>, that there is generally a chasm between intent and delivery, but intelligent persons understand that you cannot judge intent based in one inch in a patchwork quilt.

I have no issue with his idealism.... but I thought many things when he made the speech... That he cannot carry the finacial power that is yankidom with him.. He cannot expect the US to take a fall in its standard of living thus he cannot expect it to be a change the world for the better... I dont belive in the better nature of man which Obama apeals to... we are in effect selfish and indifferent to the needs of others...

It did appeal to me his discarding of dogma.. From this I thought he is hinting at the black nationalists, the neo-con, christians, islamists the librals and the conservatives..Yankis do go for dogma of certainty . Conservative values or christian values will save the world... The truely great presidents were the pragmatist not moralist Lincoln, Jefferson, Roosvelt, Clinton...

There are no scared icons.. nothing.. he will be a pragmatist.. nor will he bring any new morlaity...
alot of hope at betterment means that there would be spending where would this come from ???? How can he address the health care needs ???? How will he save the poor without spending ? where will the spending come from....

Generally I don't listen to Political Speeches, unless someone picks out something out of one then I need to go find it and see the context. I would never base my opinion of policy based on a Political Speech. It is hardly likely that he was going to come into Office and say I cannot save the Planet.

That said there is many things to criticize in the comments he has made thus far, but these two are not making these those criticisms.
One is arguing that he stole the election using his race and other jim screechy tactics.
The other is arguing that he cannot do anything because every other President have left the citizens of the USA in disarray with broken hospitals, bridges, etc.

Each of them refuses to provide a shred of evidence to substantiate their claims. Both have engaged in the same circular arguments that they have been known for over the long years that they have participated in the discussion on at leas this Board.
