I get up in the morning and I flat iron my hair to get it to look the way I am wearing my hair now. Mrs Biden gets up in the morning and most likely has a ritual to get her hair looking the way she wants it in the morning.

If you want to put it in a hierarchy,<span style="font-style: italic">(sp)</span> I have more options than she does. So that makes me the one with better hair.

White women also wear hairstyles that are not natural to their hair texture. So what is the big deal?

If a white woman has the option to change her texture, then a black woman should have that option as well.

my point is that i've never seen white women in the white house wear hairstyles more identified with another race...

but i see black women do that...
in other words the black woman seemingly HAS TO straighten her hair but the white woman DOES NOT HAVE TO curl or perm or braid her hair..

but mi done now...i will have to chack back in another hundred years to see how black women are doing it...

even sam cooke was considered revolutionary for not wearing a perm in the 50's &amp; 60's...
times change
even up til the 80's black men had to get a likkle jherri-curl or perm thing...
our natural hair only recently became 'acceptable'...so i have faith that one day black women also won't need straight hair to be accepted by 'society'...

I've done it all to my hair and most of my white friends envy that. I wouldnt give up my hair texture for anything cause I can do anything with it, and that doesnt require me to hate myself to pull it off.

It really is beyond some that not all of us struggle(d) with our hair texture or skin color.
