but is that statistic based on actuality of the situation?

meaning, those accused are proven beyond a reasonable doubt that they indeed rape said white women?

or is it a matter of white women are more willing to file a rape complaint than black women who are raped by black men so rapes of black women are under-reported?

I kinda feel it is the latter. A black woman's complaint can be dismissed more readily as her being loose or asking for it in some way, but if a white woman says it is a black man that violated her then the social prejudices of black men touching a white woman will make her more sympathetic.......

This may not be so rock solid now but it sure played a factor in time period the above men were accused of their crimes.

I dont know if I will call them "dangerous" women per se but I think these types of convictions are due to the historical issues.
Segregation and viewing blacks as less than human leads to mis-identifcation of white women about their attackers.

She is a bit different than say that woman who killed her kids and then claimed her attacked was black because in ths instance her attacker was indeed black. But because of social segregation combined with the overall unrelability of witness indentification, an innocent black man pays for the sins of another.

It is astounding that this man still went to jail even with this woman's wrong I.D. of him given that he had a more than credible alibi for his whereabouts.....a black person's word didnt care the same weight as a white person's would.

No, I never heard of that. I've heard of the shame and disgrace they have had to face at the police station and the HIGH possibility of being RAPED AGAIN by the "officers" she is reporting the rape to.
