Tropi, I would consider Susan Smith to be a dangerous woman because that is a clear case of her being responsible for a crime but deliberately lying on another &quot;person&quot;. She had the city of Boston (I think it was there) beside its' self for a good period of time. All the while she knew that the mythical bad black man didnt exist........If she had accused someone the same color as her, would the response have been as intense?

Not quite false accusation in the same sense as Susan. To the first woman, &quot;all black men look alike&quot; and she choose thusly. When DNA was able to point the finger at the correct person, it was still a black man.

Susan, straight up, in your face and to the camera, LIED. No one but her was involved in the crime against her kids period.

To be fair the black man in the amanda knox case was known to the accuser,they were all friends,the story made big news on this side of the atlantic,and is still doing.

Funny, it`s never been put forward before as a white girl accusing a black man of a crime he didnt commit.

I am guessing that Italian laws are of course different than on this side of the Atlantic Neutral but what surprised me was that he was locked up on nothing more than Amanda's word.

I am not expert, but at least a collaborating witness and some physical evidence we need to be present before someone's liberty is taken away - even if it jsut for 2 weeks.

You are correct that it was rediculous he was arrested and locked up on just her say so,but at the time the crime was such that it was assumed by the police to have been committed by a male during a sex act which went wrong,...and amanda knox furnished them with the relevant story to fit in with what they already assumed.

true about the male part because my first asspn wouldnt be another woman in a sex crime. That would be why it was easy to point the finger elsewhere and have ppl automatically believe her.

But after Karla Holmolka, noone can be quick to assume that women arent just as capable of horrific sex crimes.

I do wonder what Amanda's role in Meridith's death is

She was only dating the guy for a short period of time and it is just strange that she would be so willing to not only partake in such an act with a new boyfriend but then to also stick by him if she really had nothing to do with Meridith's death........

I agree the Smith case is MUCH worse. However, take a peek at pages 101 and 105 in the current issue of People the next time you are in the checkout line. Page 105 shows the 2 young men's photos side by side. I wish I could find them on-line to post. There is NO WAY taht the men resemble at all. The &quot;all Black people look alike&quot; excuse just doesn't fly when we are talking about someone's life and liberty. Thank God for DNA tests. They really shouldn't convict without it.
